A World War I Monument at NMUSAF

Since the National Museum of the United States Air Force has no monument honoring World War I airmen, the League has undertaken creation of one, to be unveiled on September 21, 2018, at the Dawn Patrol fly-in.

We did it !  Thanks to the generous donations by League members, friends and civic organizations, the League has reached it's goal of raising $28,000.00 to erect the permanent memorial at the Nation Museum of the USAF in Dayton.  The public formal dedication will take place on 21 September 2018 at the museum.

Donations are now closed. All donors will be listed in the Journal, and on the Over the Front web site .

Donors of up to $100 will receive a letter of appreciation from the League President.

Donors at the $100 level will also receive a certificate suitable for framing.

Donors at the $500 level will also receive a signed lithograph by noted aviation (and frequent OTF cover) artist Michael O’Neal.
