Since the NMUSAF has no monument honoring World War I airmen, the League has undertaken creation of one, to be unveiled on September 21, 2018, at the Dawn Patrol fly-in. We need to raise $25,000 (at least half of that by Jan. 1, 2018) for this to go forward. The design will recognize American air and ground crew who served with any Allied air arm during World War I.
We are asking for special donations to be used only for the monument, and which will be fully tax-deductible. All donors will be listed in the Journal, and on the Over the Front web site.
Donors of up to $100 will receive a letter of appreciation from the League President.
Donors at the $100 level will also receive a certificate suitable for framing.
Donors at the $500 level will also receive a signed lithograph by noted aviation (and frequent OTF cover) artist Michael O’Neal.
Additional information about the project may be found here.
