Local Chapters of the League...have been forming since 1990. If you would like to get involved and attend a regional chapter meeting there are a number across the U.S. from which to choose.
The Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter welcomes members to attend quarterly meetings held at various locations around the Metroplex. Previous meeting sites have included the Frontiers of Flight Museum near Love Field, the University of Texas at Dallas, Kip Aero, and the Cavanaugh Museum at Addison Airport. After a couple years of inactivity due to the ongoing covid crisis, we are reactivating for 2022.
Meetings are usually scheduled for Saturday mornings and usually end with lunch at a nearby restaurant. Although the meetings are very informal, members who wish to present topics of interest are asked to provide a title, brief summary, and an approximate time slot in advance to be added to the meeting agenda. Meeting rooms usually include a large screen TV or other means for projecting presentations.

This group meets regularly (quarterly except during the summer months) at the National Air and Space Museum’s facility at Dulles, The Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Classrooms 2a and 2B (Hangar Floor level). There is no formal membership required to attend, so anyone interested in this aspect of aviation history is most welcome. There is no fee for attending, though there is a parking fee, so consider carpooling. Additional information can be obtained from Charley Gosse, Chris Moore or Jon Barrett at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
Due to the COVID-19 closures at NASM, physical meetings are paused. We expect they will not resume before the Smithsonian reaches Level 3 (all museums open).
